High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. This is a play by play review. Seated fast and the server is very friendly. There brought the drinks right out. Service is starting out great unlike a couple of the servers I have had in this joint before. I really like the trio deal you can pick three samplers for 12.99 choices include sliders, mozzarella sticks, wings, tacos, spin. Dip, quasedilla, and a few more choices. Order nachos as an app, it came out in like 4 mins! Order the perfect margarita and its deliocouus. All smiles so far. Food was great I'm very happy. That ends the play by play!

So, I just recently moved and I have an Applebee's right down the street from where I live, sweet, right? Uhhh, dead wrong. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in, we didn't feel very welcomed by any of the staff, it was like it was a hassle to the staff that we were there. Our server, for better lack of words was a total bitch and was pretty abrasive. That was fail #1 of the night and the rest were about to keep coming. Fail #2: We ordered drinks to start out, a beer and a gin and tonic with a splash of cranberry. The beer was OK, the gin and tonic was the most watered down thing my GF has ever experienced. How the hell do you eff up a gin and tonic? Fail #3: We got the 2 for $20 deal - the food was not good, nor were the appetizers, everything was kind of bland and only complimented our stellar server (insert sarcasm here) To be honest neither of us could wait to get out of there and when we got our check we were out of there in a flash of light. Never will I end up back at this restaurant again.

Just stopped by for lunch and service is horrible. Stay away from the black waitress. I could tell she hates working there and even stood over my shoulder waiting for my tip. The male host is a jackass also. He roams around doing nothing. At least he can help serve if people are sitting around waiting for service. F this place x 10

Service was great but the fiesta lime chicken was not good, chicken I can tell had been reheated and the rice was microwaved or had been sitting for a while ...

I went to lunch at this Applebees on 7/30/15. I was not pleased with my meal. I ordered the crosscut ribs. I checked the menu online before going to lunch there. The crosscut ribs looked appetizing and appeared to be a new menu item. What I received were the riblets with a ton of thick dark barbeque sauce on them. They were clearly trying to hide that fact that they were giving me riblets and not the crosscut ribs. I've had enough riblets to know the difference. In addition, the food was room temperature. I returned the gross looking food and opted for the baby back ribs instead. They had no flavor and also was not hot. I didn't bother returning as I only had a few minutes left on my lunch. My sister ordered an appetizer sampler which included meatballs. The meatballs were practically raw on the inside. She of course returned them. Given that two orders of food was returned, there was no manager in sight to even appologize. I will never return to this Applebee location again.

Place was empty, took 20 mins to get food. Asked for a side of sauce and its been 10mins. Done with food and sauce comes in dripping wet. Food was meh, service put me off, and waitress was concerned about the bar with no one in it rather than helping us.

What a f**king joke!!! We sat right down! Our server was a tad scattered took at least 5 minutes to get out beverages, ordered our appetizers, ask for eating utensils, got our salads, (still waiting on napkins and eating utensils) finally got them. I asked for a med well steak. I got well done. Mgr asked me how was everything so I tell him. He brings me back a steak raw!!! I'm never going there around dinner time again the staff and the managers are fucking clueless and a waste of time and money

Food, beer, atmosphere and servers were fantastic. The lunch specials are economical with great tasting kids meal options. The lunch specials are $6.99/$7.99/$8.99. We were completely full by the end of lunch. Beers were on special too.

I do enjoy the chicken quesadilla here. Additionally, Billy is a very good server. Of course, the after 9pm (during the week) appetizers is a great deal for all. Checking-in with Yelp & getting free pub pretzels is going to get a good review from me.

I ordered a steak medium rare but it was well done. The waitress was not the most attentive but OK (the place wasn't crowded). The drinks were a bit watered down (my long Island iced tea didn't have much of a kick). I might be back but it's iffy...

We had the best server EVER! Usually when we order something and it's not what we expected, we don't say anything and this was no different. But our server could tell our daughter wasn't crazy about the 4 Cheese Mac and cheese and there was onions in it. Ashley P took care of it excellently. Great job, if we lived closer we definitely would be back.

Audrey was an amazing server today! Loved her service! Thanks for everything! She was very attentive and we didnt have to ask for anything else from her. The steak was amazing today as well.

I've been to this location several different times hoping the quality of food will be different, and I was disappointed every time. The food have came out cold, and taste as if it's been sitting up for a while. I Constantly have to send food back which messes up the eating experience, it's really disappointing because this location is less than 5 min away from me.

This location is better then the one in Southgate. Friendly staff, the wait is never super long and food's good. Plus you can eat two people for under $25.00 makes my wallet happy.

Just left here. My family met up before my brothers surgery Tomorrow. Our Waitress Was Deanna. She was Awesome! very attentive. My mom is allergic to just about everything under the sun lol but Deanna was patient. She even made it aware to the manager and cooks that they please be extra careful. She was fast to refill our drinks as well as making sure everything was off the table. She really made our Applebee's experience pleasant.

Why has nobody complained about the music at this establishment? My mom, my 2 sisters and I frequent Applebee's for birthdays. But we stopped coming to this specific location because of the music. Too loud and inappropriate. I could see if we were at a bar and/or it was later than 8pm, but it wasn't. On a couple different occasions we asked for the music to be lowered, they would, but 10 mins later, it was right back up. For this reason alone I stopped coming here. However, after not coming here for about a year, the husband and I stopped here hoping it had gotten better....nope! Still ridiculously loud and sounded like club music, immediately turned around and left before even speaking to the hostess. Won't come back.

My friends are shocked I even went here-but it is surprisingly pretty good. For the value! For the value! They cook their steaks well, and the cuts are always pretty good, especially for the price. Service is fast too. If you're looking for an easy, predictable, fast, friendly meal, you might be best to just give in and eat here. Also if you're just getting back from a long day airport hopping, it isn't too far from DTW to stop in on the way home. Just sayin.

Now this was a nice Applebee's experience. It was a late Tuesday evening and they had a pretty packed parking lot. We were seated right away and my eyes fell right on the WW options on their menu. They had several new WW options and I immediately saw this wonderful sounding, 12 point meal: sirloin steak with a cabernet & mushroom glaze, served with red skin potatoes and broccoli. YUM! It didn't take long at all for our food to come out -- the presentation was nice! The steak was cooked to a perfect medium temp. All I needed to add to the broccoli and potatoes was a little salt & pepper and I was good to go. It was filling, tasted great and I was satisfied afterwards. Didn't take too long to get the bill and go through the checkout process, either. good job, Allen Park Applebee's!
